The students of Class 6 and 7 of the CBSE section today had a chance to visit the school for dumb and deaf located near Tukaram Square, Akola. The teachers arranged a visit to this special school. The students were enthusiatic to visit this school and they collected amount for presenting gifts to these children. The school presented a small gift to every child in the school. The teachers and the staff gave information to the students. The students got information about various chores of these students, study pattern, how they are taught to cope up with their life full of challenges. However it is interesting to find that these children too enjoy their life inspite of all grave difficulties and being away from their home. The students also learnt some sign language used by these children for communication. The warden also wished to visit Noel School and show the full-fleged school and encourage these students to aim higher and excel in thier life. He also expressed the possibility of children coming on sundays and playing and spending some time with these students. It was a great day to see and understand their life and develop a sense of brotherhood and fraternity towards all strata of the society. The children of this school were very happy to see our kids and tried to show and explain many things for them. Finally, there was a training given by one deaf student to our school's student to perform a break dance step. It was really a great day for all the kids.
